ABSTRACT

Tk Pertiwi Kejobong is one kindergarten located in the village kejobong, Kabupaten Purbalingga. Kindergarten is an education that forms the basic pattern and patterns of thinking the child to the next level. Generally, children at this age have high imajenasi so that it can influence the attitudes and behavior of children from what he has seen. At this time the progress of the animation is growing very rapidly, it is evidenced by the many animations from outside that aired on TV, but most of the animation is shown only for the sake of mere entertainment regardless of the value contained in the story, which is not appropriate for young children. By seeing that the authors make a 2D animated folklore to be able to convey a moral message and the positive messages contained in the story as well so that children more easily and understand the story.
System development method used in this research is a method of system development waterfall (M. Suyanto 2006) because it leads to the concept of the study. the results of these studies is a 2D animation about folklore Purbasari The Beauty.
