ABSTRACT

Terms of information technology with the convenience offered, particularly in information systems. The existence of the computer system is helpful in solving problems, especially in terms of data processing. The use of computers can also be used as a tool to achieve the goals and looking for ease in doing a work process, especially those that involve a lot of data. Almost all institutions both public and private use of computer systems. Department of Transportation, Communication and Information Purbalingga in doing the presence of employees is done manually. The presence of employees is done only by filling initials on the sheet presence provided by the civil service.
The purpose of preparation of the thesis to build a presence information system that is expected to simplify the process of employee presence. The method used using waterfall system development method, which begins with the analysis, design, coding, testing, and treatment may generate presence information system that can be used in the office.
