ABSTRACTS

Autobus company Rosalia Indah Purwokerto is a bus company wich provides executive class bus for transportation facilities. Although the company develops well, the ticket reservation is processed manually. This thesis was arranged to create a bus ticket reservation system based on website program which facilitates the passengers to reserve ticket directly without any obtacles of distance and location and this system utilizes gateway SMS as media of conveying information. The method used by the writer to create the system is XP (Extreme Programming) system development. The XP has four stages, planning, designing, encoding, and examining. In creating this information system, the writer used PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. The product created is web based information system of online bus ticket reservation (a case study : PO Rosalia Indah Purwokerto) in order to facilitate the passengers to process ticket reservation and information.
