ABSTRACT

Mail archiving is a very important activity, especially at the district office Kalimanah. Mail management and archiving system previously used letters that use the recording in a ledger, then the incoming mail only stacked, without any grouping of letters. The aim of this study was to design and build an information system at the district office filing letter Kalimanah to assist the administration in the district office Kalimanah. Data collection methods used in the making of this information system is interview, observation, documentation, literature study. While the system development method used is the waterfall method (waterfall), which consists of stages analyst, design, coding, and testing. Software used is Microsoft Visual Basic.NET, MySQL, XAMPP, Crystal Report.Hasil of this study is the design of information systems archiving server-based mail client (case study: the district office Kalimanah) can help the administration at the district office Kalimanah.
