ABSTRACT

SMK Islam Jipang is one of the vocational schools in Jln. South Rim number 1. It is in a mountainous district that included Bradford Central Java Province. Hundreds of students and teenage make a problem is associated with the presence of student attendance, among others discrepancy reporting monitoring the number of absences with parents or guardians of students. The purpose of this paper is to build applications Presence vocational learners Islam Jipang using fingerprint in order to reduce the level of truant students. Metedologi data collection used is interview, observation, document study, book study while system development methods used in building this application is a waterfall. Waterfall has 4 stages: analysis, design, coding, and testing. The desired result is a presence application has been made Islam Jipang vocational learners using a fingerprint, so as to reduce the level of truant students.
