GAME 3D "THE BATTLE OF SOLDIER" DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN UNITY 3D

ABSTRACT

FPS genre types (Firs Person Shooter) game genre is one of the most popular areas in Purwokerto particular. Evident from the observation of the writer showed 10 Internet cafes in the area Purwokerto 9 of them a lot of game play that Point Blank and Counter Strike FPS genre with an average player is aged 12-17 years old, will look at the potential for gaming enthusiasts, the author had the idea to design and build games as a medium of education about the dangers of smoking, given the wide range of research in the world reveal that cigarette advertising and promotion affect the amount of increase in smokers. This condition also occurs in Indonesia, citing data from the Global Youth Tobaccu Survey (GATS 2009) showed that as many as 89.3% adolescents aged 13-15 years in Indonesia has been exposed to cigarette advertising through outdoor media (billboards) and 76, 6% through the print media (newspapers and magazines). Meanwhile, the number of active smokers in Indonesia is the third highest in the world after China and India. Seeing these data the authors aimed at making game genre FPS (Firs Person Shooter) as a medium of entertainment and interactive education on cigarettes by utilizing the Unity 3D game engine, the alkaline development Multimedia Development Life Cycle. Results from this study is a 3D game called The Battle Of Soldier, with beta testing to the user on the feasibility of games, found that states 42% strongly agree, 36% agree, 22% expressed neutral, disagree 0%, strongly disagree as much as 0%, the total amount stated conclusions strongly agree 42% plus the agreed 36% equal with 78%, so that 3D games The Battle Of Soldier can be categorized as a medium worty of entertaining and education game shape.
