ABSTRACT

The importance of taking care of the teeth and mouth through 3D visualization applied in Dentistry Hospital UNSOED Purwokerto. Because all this media information that hospitals still use posters and flyers only. The hospital is often visited by students of kindergarten and elementary school in Banyumas for play and learning, add to knowledge about the basics of oral health who will be guided by the student coass. Not only does this video animation as a medium of instruction, which is used by students coass alone, but also aired in the LCD monitor or in the room waiting for the patient. The purpose and benefits of this research to create a 3D animation video come on keep your dental health and your mouth can increase knowledge and make education as a matter of interest to patients and followed by the kindergarten and elementary school who visit. Based on the research is aimed at making the information media to take care of teeth and mouth by using 3D animation video. This thesis data retrieval method that is, interview, observation, study of the literature. The methods used in the development of multimedia on this research is a Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) phases of the method, concept, design, material collecting, assembly. testing, and distribution.Alpha testing and beta testing using a questionnaire that has been commited against a person or a 98 percent of respondents said Yes and said No as 2 percent. So can be drawn the conclusion,that this video has an interesting look, give it a positive, motivating adults and children to keep the mouth and dental health.
