ABSTRACT

The era of globalization is a period in which the world is getting narrower. No exception means of transportation are widely used today to unite people from one place to another. A lot of means of transportation used by people of Indonesia for traveling, such as bicycles, motorcycles, cars, trains, airplanes and ships. Transportation is very popular with the people of Indonesia is the car. Almost every day a lot of cars passing vehicles on the highway until almost make congestion in the cities in Indonesia. As in Purwokerto, Central Java now many car users who crowded the highway, even the car from outside the city are also many passing by on the highway town of Navan. Obstacles that usually occurs in the motorist is when breaking down the middle of the street with a sudden. Those who know about the machine can certainly correct itself, but in contrast to the not yet understand. Therefore, it needs the right media applications to facilitate car owners in finding the location of the nearest garage. Media applications are now widely used is a mobile application, because the application in a mobile form have advantages such as portable and efficient. This application is very helpful person who far come to Purwokerto and incidentally his car broke down in the street, whether it be during the day or night, it is expected the application can also be used as directions and provide information about the workshop is complete in Purwokerto. Therefore, in making this paper the author took the title "APPLICATION WORKSHOP CAR SEARCH IN PURWOKERTO ANDROID BASED".
