ABSTRACT

The choice of location of new housing through analysis and calculations must
be precise, needed for support new housing site selection DSS to determine the
location of new housing so that the decision making that can be produced is the
best alternative that compromised (best compromise). Many new housing site
selection DSS uses the methods of TOPSIS and AHP in its application. The need
for knowledge and understanding in terms of application and analysis of methods
TOPSIS and AHP in new housing site selection DSS. Methods of data collection in
this research using the method of observation, interviews, literature, and data
analysis used is TOPSIS and AHP. The purpose of this research apply the method
TOPSIS and AHP in new housing site selection in order to facilitate the decision
maker, especially in Sapphire Grup in determining the precise location of new
housing, so that it can be determined alternative appropriate location seen from the
various criteria (variable input) specified by the developer. This is very important
aspect in the planning of the property business, because of good locations is crucial
to many important aspects, both in terms of value, viability, and succes. From the
analysis using TOPSIS and AHP method result that Karanglewas as an alternative
location most new housing seen from various specified criteria.
