ABSTRACT

Indonesia is an archipelago country in the world which has the largest tribe and culture. Indonesia also has a wide range of cultures and characteristics of each region. Characteristics and culture of each province consisting of traditional houses, local clothing, musical instruments, dance areas even up to each province's arms. Android is a Linux-based operating system for mobile phones such as smart phones and tablet computers. The purpose of this research is to create an application that is easy to use by the Indonesian people to know more about Indonesian culture and to preserve the culture of Indonesia and attractive for use. The method used in the making of this application is the Multimedia Development Live Cycle. This application can be used as a medium to get to know the cultures that exist in Indonesia.
