ABSTRACT

SMP Negeri 2 Kalimanah is one Junior High School located in Purbalingga and a school under the auspices of the Department of Education Purbalingga. The process of registration of new students in SMP Negeri 2 Kalimanah has been done still use the book to record the data recap PPDB then inputting the journal data is still using the software Microsoft Excel, plus search the archive data PPDB quite a long time if requested by parties who require, as well as the announcement of the reception only informed through the school announcement board. It would require online registration information system in SMP Negeri 2 Kalimanah to overcome the above problems. This application is built using SDLC waterfall method commonly used in making applications. There are several stages in this application, the stage of the analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. This application uses the system design by using Data Flow Diagram. While in the coding phase, the application is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. This application is expected by the school and prospective students will be facilitated in the process of admission of new students in SMP Negeri 2 Kalimanah.
