ABSTRACTS

Current computer network is critical in supporting the development of information technology is rapidly increasing, the need for information is increasing as well. Therefore, it needs a facility that will support it, one of which is the availability of fast internet connection and stable. Kantor Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Kabupaten Banyumas (Perpusarda Banyumas) has a network of computers that have been implemented at this time which serves as a medium of communication and data transmission such as sharing files, printers and internet. However, from a network that is already applied today, there are still complaints from users every day as they feel that the internet connection is slow and unstable..
The purpose of this study is to conduct an analysis of the quality of network services at Kantor Perpusarda Banyumas based method of service quality (Quality of Service) parameters consist of bandwidth, delay, throughput, and packet loss, to determine the quality of network services, so it can do the necessary treatment.
Research carried out through four stages of activity, the first stage of network analysis, the second step is the design of the network, followed by a phase of network configuration. Once the network is completed, the testing and analysis of test results.
Based on the analysis of the measurement parameters of quality of service (QoS), bandwidth management that has been applied and user management on the network, obtained by 128,32kbps value of the bandwidth, throughput amounted 12103,32Bps, delay of 139,67ms (Good according TIPHON), and packet loss amounted to 0%. These results are considered very good by the standards TIPHON.
