ABSTRACT
Traffic lights are lights that control the flow of traffic which is attached at a crossroads, a pedestrian crossing (zebra crossing), and where the flow of other traffic. These lights that indicate when the vehicle should run and stop alternately from different directions. Along with the development of traffic flow, traffic flow variations become so diverse that the engine control is used also must have a program variations as well.
The purpose of this research is able to create a machine that controls the traffic light can be set according to the desired day and time, so that the traffic light goes according to traffic levels during the hours that have been determined. Data collection method used in this research is of Library Studies and Interviews. The steps are performed in this research is to define the problem, planning, manufacture, filling programs, and testing. The program is created using the C programming language and compiled into a .hex file.
