ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research is to design and create a media in the form of documentary about coconut sap tappers as raw material for making coconut sugar or brown sugar to education media and morality message. Data collection methods used to make this application are library method, interview and observation method.
In this research for system development method use the method of waterfall development system (M. Suyanto and Aryanto Y 2006.) and the technique of documentary editor use cross cutting technique. The result of this research is a documentary about the life a sap tappers.
This application get result .mpeg and can use windows media player. This application is used to give an education and morality message for public relation especially who watching this documentary.
