ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research is to find wether the information in STMIK AMIKOM Purwokerto is currently running appropriate or not by assembling using The Open Group Architrctre Framework (TOGAF). The study on the target system for evaluating the academic information system in the STMIK AMIKOM Purwokerto academic section includes new student regristration, regristration, study plan card, study results card, transcripts and scheduling. The methods used in this research is The Open Group Architrctre Framework (TOGAF). TOGAF is framework and methods that are widely accepted in the development of architecture for information management (TAFIM)in the Departement of Defense of the United States. The framework was adopted by the open group in the mid-1900s, the first specifications of togaf is introduced 1995. The result of this research is the system that runs on STMIK AMIKOM Purwokerto is in compliance with the application of existing academic information system, it’s just that there are some things still yet to be integrated directly with the academic information system and not the existence of an integrated information system the can support the overall business function. One of the existing business function on the academic information system is the process of charging the KRS, KRS there are now subjects of concentration, where students must choose in advance so that these courses can be scheduled and students are not allowed to change the concentration courses.
