ABSTRACT


Santika Hotel in promoting its services are still limited to using brochures and banners to consumers or visitors. Therefore Santika Hotel want to promote the facilities contained in the Santika Hotel with animated promotional video media interest, and has a commercial value in the business that is able to provide the characteristics and special attraction for consumers and visitors that want to stay or rest at the Santika Hotel. The purpose of this research is to create 3-dimensional animated video ads Santika Hotel as a promotion media. Boundary problem manufacture in making this project is in the making of this ad video using the application is Blender, Photoshop and After effects, video ads showing the view outside and inside the hotel and its facilities, in the manufacture of 3-dimensional animated video advertising researchers using proportional scale. 3D animation is now widely used by some large companies as a promotional media due to the attractiveness of the animation is quite high. Data collection methods used to create video ads are the direct observation method, the method of documentation, interviews. For the development of the system in this study using the method according to the development of Waterfall conducted by tree phases: pra production, production and post production. The results of this study are three-dimensional animation video ads Santika Hotel Navan which will be shown in some places to help the promotion of Santika Hotel Purwokerto
