ABSTRACT

At school SMK Maarif NU 1 Cilongok academic record system starting from the data of students, teachers, teaching and learning, until the value is still done using the manual. In the process of searching the data in Microsoft Excel is also quite troublesome users because the data is quite a lot but can not automatically search for specific data that the user wants. So also in the process of making statements that can not directly print the report specific data that has been stored, but the user must enter the data one by one in the file.
The method used in this paper is the method of data collection and system development. Mentode development using Waterfall method using a system design tool DFD and ERD. The software used in the making of this application ie Microsoft Visual Basic NET 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
With the academic information systemmust be able to handle its process to be faster and precise.
