Abstracts
Augmented reality or in Indonesian which means additional reality is a technology that combines the virtual object into the real atmosphere and displays the shape of the object. Augmented reality can be used one of them in the field of education so that students will be more interested in understanding the material presented by the teacher and can improve the Effectiveness of learning that are often disrupted because of the difficulty of communication media.
In the study “ Aplikasi Pengenalan Gamelan Jawa Berbasis Android Menggunakan Teknik Augmented Reality “, the author tries to develop augmented reality for android platform that displays on a 3-dimensional image as a media introduction of the Javanese gamelan.
