RINGKASAN

Dengan perkembangan era digitalisasi saat ini, penyampaian dan penerimaan informasi menjadi lebih interaktif dan cepat. Universitas Amikom Purwokerto adalah salah satu perguruan tinggi yang telah banyak memanfaatkan teknologi informasi tersebut. Dengan berdirinya Fakultas Bisnis dan Ilmu Sosial ini, banyak para siswa atau calon mahasiswa belum mengetahui apa itu Fakultas Bisnis dan Ilmu Sosial. Sehingga media informasi berupa video profil merupakan salah satu solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dari peneilitian ini yaitu untuk membuat video profil dengan menerapkan teknik motion tracking dan kinetic typography sebagai media informasi yang menarik dan informatif. Dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan multimedia yaitu, Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) ini akan mempermudah pembuatan video profil. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu berupa video profil Fakultas Bisnis dan Ilmu Sosial sebagai media informasi dengan menerapkan teknik motion tracking dan kinetic typography. Diharapkan video profil tersebut bisa menarik banyak mahasiswa baru di Fakultas Bisnis dan Ilmu Sosial Universitas Amikom Purwokerto.

ABSTRACT

With the development of the current digitalization era, the delivery and reception of information has become more interactive and faster. Amikom University Purwokerto is one of the tertiary institutions that has taken advantage of this information technology. With the establishment of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, many students or prospective students do not yet know what the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences is. So that media information in the form of video profiles is one solution to solve these problems. The purpose of this research is to create a profile video by applying motion tracking and kinetic typography techniques as an interesting and informative media of information. By using a multimedia development method that is, the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) will facilitate the creation of profile videos. The results obtained in the form of a video profile of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences as information media by applying motion tracking techniques and kinetic typography. It is hoped that the profile video will attract many new students at the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, Amikom University, Purwokerto.
