RINGKASAN

Sistem Informasi dan teknologi informasi merupakan salah satu kunci dalam pencapaian sasaran bisnis, terutama untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif dari para kompetitor, ini berlaku juga pada bisnis perhotelan, salah satunya adalah Hotel Meotel Purwokerto. Untuk memanfaatkan sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi tentunya butuh perencanaan strategis yang tepat agar dapat memanfaatkan sistem informasi secara optimal. Perencanaan strategis sistem informasi juga dapat mendukung tercapainya visi dan misi dari Hotel Meotel Purwokerto. Untuk menyusun perencanaan strategis sistem informasi pada Hotel Meotel Purwokerto akan menggunakan metodologi Ward dan Peppard. Tools metodologi ward dan peppard terdiri dari PEST, SWOT, analisis, analisis Value Chain, dan McFarlan’s Strategic Grid. Adapun hasil dari perencanaan strategis sistem informasi pada Hotel Meotel Purwokerto adalah berupa dokumen portofolio aplikasi SI/TI yang nantinya bisa dimanfaatkan oleh Hotel Meotel Purwokerto sebagai landasan untuk mengembangkan bisnisnya ke level-level berikutnya.

Kata Kunci: Perencanaan Strategis Sistem Informasi, Hotel Meotel Purwokerto, Ward dan Peppard.

ABSTRACT

Information system and information technology is one of the essential factors in business target achievement, particularly to achieve competitive eminence among the competitors, ensuing in business of hotel, for instance Hotel Meotel Purwokerto. To itilize information system and information technology, it is necessarily to have a fine strategic planning to optimally utilizing the information system. The strategic planning of information system is also able to support and to achieve vision and mission of Hotel Meotel Purwokerto. To organize the strategic planning of information system in Hotel Meotel Purwokerto, the outhor applies Ward and Peppard methodology. The Ward and Peppard methodology consist of PEST, SWOT, Value Chain analysis, and McFarlan’s Strategic Grid. The result of the strategic planning of information system in Hotel Meotel Purwokerto is a portfolio document of IS/IT application which can be utilized by Hotel Meotel Purwokerto as a platform to expand the business to the next level.
