Abstrak
Museum of Jenderal Sudirman using conventional promotional media such as brochures, billboards, pamphlets and newspapers. Where it has been many use the same promotion. Thus the election media campaign proper differentiation is a strategy that is expected to gain market share in world tourism. For that they invented a multimedia application in the form of virtual reality. The benefits of the museum not only provides entertainment only travel but provide useful knowledge for visitors, especially for students.Military agencies and the general public who study history. The purpose of this study makes a big media campaign tni museum commander Jendral Sudirman as a potential tourist a place. With the virtual media campaign utilizing interactive multimedia museum, with the hope to increase the number of tourists to the museum of Jendral Sudirman. In this study using the method of system development methodology that MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle). The results of this research is a virtual museum created using the Unity3D game engine. Characters created using Autodesk 3D Max program, with a 3D animation of existing features is the user interaction to objects that can display information museum objects encountered.
