Abstrak

Animals are classified into several types, one of which is classification of animals based on the type of food. Classification of animal based food can be divided into three categories, namely Herbivores, Carnivores and Omnivores. The purpose of this study to help students learn the Natural Sciences more fun and easy to understand especially on Animal Classification Based on the type of food is. System development method used in the study MDLC method. This study was implemented to design and create educational games that will be made by the researcher to help students learn to differentiate between types of animals based on the type of food with interesting and easily understood. This educational game consists of three levels, with each level there are animals including herbivores, carnivores and omnivores. Educational game animal classification is intended for elementary school students in the material sub classification of animals based on the type of food. From the results of the questionnaire educational game based on the classification of animal food obtained yield was 92.21% and included in the category of media means Strongly Agree that this is good to serve as a medium of learning in order to assist teachers in the delivery of material to the media more attractive.
